1 :: Open up the pack & find the white iPod connector
cable in the top pocket
2 :: Plug your iPod into the connector (make sure the
battery on your iPod is charged!)
3 :: Ensure the black ribbon-connector is securely plugged
into the black ElekTex box
4 :: Find the black head-phone jack (also in the top
pocket) & plug it into your iPod
5 :: Start your iPod playing your selected album/play list
6 :: Set the key lock switch on your iPod to 'locked'
position (optional)
7 :: Insert your iPod & loose wires into the mesh
pocket & secure with Velcro tab
8 :: Plug your iPod head-phones into the universal socket
on the backpack strap
9 :: Make sure you protect your ears/hearing by turning the
volume down before putting your head-phones on
10 :: Press & hold the Unlock button (the one with the
padlock picture) on the backpack strap for 4 seconds to
activate the smart fabric switch
11 :: Adjust the volume to your preferred listening level
12 :: Be aware that the Smart Fabric Control Panel will
auto-lock after 7 seconds of inactivity
13 :: To re-activate the Control Panel, simply press &
hold the Unlock button for 4 seconds
14 :: All buttons will remain active whilst you adjust
volume/track & will automatically re-lock when you
haven't pressed any button for 7 seconds
